Mother's Basal Cell Carcinoma Surgery on August 9, 2010

Mother is having the stitches taken out after 1 week.

This is the graft with stitches immediately after surgery.

The graft was taken from in front of her left ear.

This is the side view showing how deep they had to cut - 7 layers!

The doctor is "drawing" the graft line.
I loved that Christi said something like,
"Only Grandma could look like she was having
a spa treatment and actually be in surgery!"

This was the microphone test and photo op for Dominic to say, "Play Ball" to begin the Padre game against the Brewers on April 29. With Dominic's help, our Swinging Friars blanked the Brewers 9-0! Not bad for a four-year-old. Not bad for anyone!

Dominic is an old-hand at Padre games, since he has been a season-ticket holder since he was in-utero. This was Cody's first game!


Dominic loves "The Star Spangled Banner." In fact, when a rolly-polly dies, he always asks me to sing it with him.

We had an incredible cruise on Mariner of the Seas. Our week-long cruise took us to the Mexican Riviera with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerta Vallarta. It's a definite DO-AGAIN!
